The Africa Battery Initiative is EXCITED and THRILLED to announce its cooperation with the Regional Economic and Trade Organization , “the East Africa Community (EAC)”, in preparation and Hosting the 1st East Africa Mineral Summit 2024.
Scope of the Summit has now expanded to cover all 7 East African Community Member Countries namely :- Tanzania,Kenya , Uganda, Burundi, The DRC, Burundi, Rwanda and South Sudan.
In addition to EAC member Countries , Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe will also participate.
Due to the above, the member countries have requested more time to prepare their participation at the Summit.
Let us come together so as to Strengthen Investment in EV-Battery Value Chain in Africa so that we together achieve our share sustainabitly and Carbon-Nutrality ambition !

Why Zanzibar as the Venue of the Summit:-
Zanzibar is part of United Republic of Tanzania, a country which is endowed with abudant of Critical Minerals and the same time Zanzibar is the one of the most beautiful Insland on our plant which is already experiencing the impact of the climate change. The Summit in Zanzibar is to encourage the Transportation and Automotive Industries globally to contnue scalling and Innovating and joining hands to save the Islands through reducing emmision and meeting our NET-ZERO GOALS
